To apply for a new electricity meter connection, visit the ENC system or the online application portal. The SEPCO new connection application involves five steps, each with specific sub-steps.
Ensure you fill out all required fields accurately. Incomplete or incorrect information may result in your application being rejected. Before applying, make sure you have the following documents ready:
A copy of a nearby SEPCO electricity bill
Proof of property ownership
An attested copy of your CNIC
An attested CNIC copy of a witness
Wiring contractor’s test report for your residence

sepco New Connection Process Steps
Open the ENC Online Application Portal: Access it on your desktop or laptop.
Locate the “Apply” Button: Click on this button found on the homepage.
Enter Neighbor’s Reference Number: Fill in this field, which will auto-populate other necessary fields like your neighbor's name, address, and the distribution company name.
Select Load Type: Choose the appropriate load; for a domestic connection, select 5 KW, while for commercial or industrial connections, choose above 5 KW.
Select Connection Type: Opt for Domestic if applying for residential use. Other options include Commercial, Agricultural, and Industrial.
Identify Your Status: If renting, select “Tenant”; if you own the house, select “Landlord.”
Input Your Name and Father's/Husband's Name: Ensure correct spelling.
Fill in Citizenship Details: If you’re Pakistani, select the first option and enter your CNIC number along with your address.
Provide Mobile Numbers: Enter your personal mobile number and a second contact number (e.g., father or husband).
Specify Contact Person for Connection: If you are the person acquiring the new connection, select the same option to auto-fill your details.
Premises Details: If an electricity meter is already installed, mention it; if not, enter “0.”
Specify Load Requirement: Select the load needed for your new connection and mention the installation address.
List Appliances: Indicate the appliances you will use, specifying the quantity and load for each. Add more appliances by selecting “Add Row.”
Upload Required Documents: Click on the browse button to upload scanned copies of all documents.
Review and Submit: Read the terms and conditions, agree, and complete the captcha before clicking “Submit.”
How to Check SEPCO New Meter Connection Status
After applying for a new connection, you will receive a tracking number. This number allows you to check the status of your sepco new connection application.
Visit the ENC Portal: Access the portal.
Click the “Track” Button: This will bring up a form with two options.
Select Application Type: Choose to track the new connection application or any changes like name or tariff adjustments.
Enter Tracking Information: For a new connection, select sepco from the dropdown menu and enter your tracking ID.
Check Your Status: After entering your details, you will see the current status of your application.
SEPCO Demand Notice
Once your new connection application is submitted, the SEPCO ENC team will review it and monitor all necessary elements for installing the new meter. A demand notice will be issued after this assessment.
You can view statuses such as “Review Completed” or “Pay Demand Notice Fee” on your application tracking page. Download your demand notice voucher through the ENC portal once available.
How to Apply for SEPCO Demand Notice Online
Navigate to the ENC Portal: Access the portal.
Select “Print” Button: Found on the left side of the page.
Choose Application Type: Select the new connection option.
Enter Tracking Number: Input your new connection application tracking number and click “Submit.”
Download or Print Demand Notice: Review the demand notice form and choose your preferred option.
Important Note
To expedite your application, pay the demand notice fee at your nearest bank.
How to Submit Demand Notice Online
After paying the SEPCO new connection fee, you can submit your demand notice application online. You must have a scanned copy of the paid demand notice fee.
Visit the ENC Portal: Access it again.
Choose “Upload” Option: Indicated in the interface.
Set Application Type: Select new connection.
Enter Tracking Number: Input your tracking number and click “Submit.”
Upload Demand Notice: A prompt will appear to upload the scanned copy of the demand notice. Save your submission.
Note
Upon timely payment and uploading your demand notice, your new connection will be installed within 15 days, following official procedures.
